I often get a first-hand glimpse at artists within our town, working together and supporting one another. It’s heartwarming, encouraging and vital to the creative heartbeat of our community. Recently, we lost two very beloved members of this gifted group and now their families needs our support, both emotionally and financially, to help pay for costs incurred during their care.
Benefit Concert for Chris and Pattie Kresge
For the past three years, I would chat with Miss Pattie Kresge behind the Mountain Stage of Bohemian Nights at New West Fest. She was so very supportive of our local music scene and would encourage the musicians to lather up with sunscreen before going on stage, where her husband was emceeing. The back of the Mountain Stage will be a different vibe without Miss Pattie and she will be sorely missed.
Chris and Pattie Kresge, long time Colorado music staples and supporters, are in need of some soul lifting and support. Pattie was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma in November 2015. Sadly, over Christmas Pattie suffered a massive brain seizure leaving her condition terminal. A music event and concert benefitting the Kresge family will be held Wednesday, February 10 in Fort Collins. All proceeds from this event will directly go to the Kresge family for expenses incurred due to Pattie’s illness.
The event will feature very special performances by The Subdudes, Chris Kresge, Danny Shafer, Chris Daniels and Megan Burtt. The event will also include a silent auction, drinks, hors d’oeuvres and dessert. Silent auction will feature items such as tickets to the sold out Red Rocks show for Nathaniel Ratliff and the Night Sweats and an at home concert by Angie Stevens.
“I am humbled and honored to have the support of so many incredible and loving friends at this time in my life. That my wife, Miss Pattie, is honored by our friends this way is as wonderful as the love she felt towards everyone she met in our scene,” says Chris Kresge.

Forever Audri Benefit Drag Show
And then there’s Andrew. Anyone that met him, even briefly, wouldn’t forget his smile, humor, style and gracefulness. He loved performing as his alter-ego, Audri Fenmore, and entertaining crowds in Northern Colorado looking for a titillating show. I’ve had multiple conversations with Andrew and Audri over time and always walked away felling proud of him for doing exactly what he wanted to do. I’m sure he’s still dancing… and wearing feathers and sexy stockings 😉
Andrew Lawrence Stellmack died peacefully January 7, 2016 at the home of his mother, Vera M. Turk and step-mother, Irene F. Stein, in Fort Collins, CO. The cause of death was a rare form of cancer that he had been battling since diagnosis in October 2015. A show to benefit our dear friend and performer Audri Fenmore and her family. This is an all ages show at Avo’s with great food and your favorite beverages on tap!
