Fort Collins band Wasteland Hop is currently on a five month tour, “The Greater Glacier and Equator Saga,” which has them traveling north to south from Alaska to Ecuador. On October 15, we’re lucky enough to get a visit from the band in order for them to release the first ever 360° virtual reality music video from Fort Collins.
Wasteland Hop was granted special permission from the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) to film the video at the atomic clock transmitters north of Fort Collins.
The premier of this video, ‘Only Us,’ will take place at the Fort Collins Museum of Discovery OtterBox Digital Dome Theater on October 15 at 7 p.m. Show up at 6 p.m. if you want to meet the director, Tomas Herrera, director of photography, Ben Gondrez, choreographer, Nicole Hussain, and the band members. Cash bar and snacks will be provided. Admission is free, though registration is required due to limited seating.
